I am a 23 year old female who has a bad habit of not flossing my teeth. How many times a day should I floss my teeth?

Hello, at the minimum, twice a day in the morning and the evening. But it does not hurt to floss after each meal. Thank you for your question.

Dear Patient,
At least once a day, ideally after every meal.

Flossing is best done once a day. It disrupts the bacteria where the toothbrush cannot reach. Keep trying, it is a fantastic habit to obtain!
P.S. you are not alone, but the regular flossers usually see the dentist less.

Once a day is recommended by the American Dental Association.

Flossing is an important part of oral disease prevention. Daily brushing preferably with an electric toothbrush and regular preventive visits to the dentist and hygienist are equally as important. If you are doing all those things, then flossing once daily should be adequate.
