I am a 25 year old female. I want to know if a crown is better than filling?

Sometimes only a crown will work to save your tooth If a filling fails you might be able to have another filling but if a crown fails you will need another crown. For this reason, ethical dentists, are very cautious to place the first crown on any tooth.
A crown is needed when there is too much tooth structure missing. I prefer a filling unless the tooth is greatly compromised.
That depends on how much of your tooth is missing. If it is only a very small cavity a few milimeters across and only a few milimeters deep, then a conservative filling would be better. However, if 50% or more of your tooth is missing, then a crown would be the better option.
It depends if there is enough tooth structure to do a filling, but if the tooth has a root canal treatment or already has a big filling which has to be replaced, having a crown is a mast.
The crown may support the tooth better, but requires more reduction of tooth structure usually. There are other factors to consider. You may need both.
