Acupuncture from a licensed acupuncturist should be safe for everyone and just about everywhere on the human body.
Yes, 100% safe. A lot time we have patients going home with scalping needles for 2 days if they have severe muscle spasm and muscle weakness due brain injury, spinal code injury, MS, etc.
Super safe, our scalp skin thickness usually over 1.18 mm, then the acupuncture needle used nowadays are mostly very fine — they vary from 0.12 mm to 0.35 mm in diameter.
Our head bones have a very solid structure. So acupuncture cannot harm you. In addition, acupuncture is safe because it only irritates the skin on the bones.
Hi,
Needle on the head is safe, if you have been treated by protection. Some points are not for needling.
Hope this answer helps

The head is a large part of the body. There are areas it is definitely safe, and areas it is risky though somewhat safe with the proper training. Perhaps you could be more specific.
Yes, scalp acupuncture is excellent for many conditions, especially neuro muscular. Ear acupuncture is good for a host of conditions. In general acupuncture is safe when a fully trained acupuncturist does the treatment. Look for LAc after their name. Other practitioners use acupuncture needles but call it something else like dry needling but that is still acupuncture and if they are not an LAc they only have minimal training. That is the only time acupuncture is not necessarily save, lack of proper training.
Good day,
Yes it is extremely safe and very important for many protocols.
I hope this helps

Yes, of course. There are many nodes or points on the head that provide biochemical responses in the body related the specific organs in the body as well as for neurological conditions.
Thank you for you question.
There are many points used on the head. Standard precautions for needles should keep it safe. With any needle on any part of the body there is a risk of bleeding, infection, or puncturing something that was not intended. If you have any questions, ask your acupuncturist.

Hi,
Perfectly and most definitely safe! There is an acupuncture treatment called Scalp Acupuncture as well. If you have any questions, please contact your local acupuncturist.

Acupuncture is safe when it is performed on the head. We use it to treat headaches and other conditions.

Absolutely. There are many acupuncture points on the head that are indicated for many conditions and there is absolutely no concern if administered by a licensed Acupuncturist.
Yes, when performed by a licensed acupuncturist, scalp acupuncture is safe and effective. In addition to many standard acupuncture points located on the scalp, there have also been many special points developed over time. Insertion in the scalp is shallow and often offers a deep sense of relaxation and relief.
Acupuncture on the head is very safe by a trained and licensed acupuncturist.

Hello & thank you for your question! Yes, acupuncture on the head (facial acupuncture and scalp acupuncture) and the neck is safe! Be sure that your practitioner is nationally board certified and licensed within your state!
Yes, it is absolutely safe on head since the acupunctue needles are simply tiny and thin which would not hurt skull at all.
Yes, there are many important acupuncture points on the head - and that includes the face! Also, scalp acupuncture is what is referred to as a "microsystem" - a very effective way to treat many conditions in several different parts of the body. Acupuncturists are thorough trained in all aspects of safe needing of the head area.
It is totally safe and actually least problematic because needles cannot penetrate the skull so no worry about too deep needling.
Yes, it is. Don't worry, your Acupuncturist should handle it very easily.
