“Is Invisalign as good as normal braces?”
Is Invisalign as good as normal braces? Will they take longer to straighten out my teeth in the same period of time?

It can. Sometimes it's not as efficient or will do as good of a job. But there are other things it does better. Depends on the patient and what needs we're trying to correct.
Both invisalign and traditional braces are good options for correction of teeth alignment. The time period depends on the level of correction required for your teeth. Get a consultation with a dentist or orthodontist to see what option is best for you and your needs.
I am not an orthodontist, but as a general dentist, I do clear correct it is similar like Invisalign, and all my cases I accept are simple ortho cases such as aligning minor crowding and closing spaces. If you have severe crowding, deep bite, overbite, open bite, cross bite, and skeletal problem, you might get a best result with regular braces. I suggest you see an orthodontist so they will decide which one will be the best option for you.
Invisalign can be as good as braces, depending on the treatment goals. Most of the time I find that Invisalign is equivalent to braces AS LONG AS PATIENTS WEAR THEM! ;-) Since braces are glued to your teeth, they work constantly. Whereas Invisalign can be removed easily and potentially not worn as often as prescribed. Compliance (lack of), is typically the biggest set-back with aligner treatments.
