Is massage therapy good for nerve pain?

I am a 36 year old male with nerve pain in my neck. Is massage therapy good for nerve pain?

Yes. Massage depending on what type of massage and the techniques used will relase tight muscles that could potentially be causing nerve entrapment.
If the nerve pain is being caused by a muscle in spasm pressing on the nerve, then a massage therapist can alleviate the spasm in the muscle. thus releasing it from its pressure on the nerve. That, along with the natural blood flow going back into the nerves and muscles can, alleviate residual nerve pain. Dahana
Massage can do a lot for nerve pain!
Massage addresses muscles and not really nerve pain. A neurologist would be my recommendation.
With a doctor or primary care approval, medical massage can be very helpful in treating pain.
