Is walking good for plantar fasciitis?

I am a 35 year old female and I have plantar fasciitis. Is walking good for plantar fasciitis?

Yes, walking can be beneficial for plantar fasciitis as it promotes blood flow, strengthens the foot muscles, and helps maintain flexibility. However, it's important to start gradually and wear appropriate footwear with good arch support. Also don’t forget to do a stretching before and after walking. If pain persists or worsens, consult a healthcare professional for further guidance.

Yes, but stretching afterwards is critical. Physical therapy can alleviate the pain from plantar fasciitis.
Plantar fasciitis is an overuse injury from repetitive use such as walking or running. Best thing is to stretch the arch of your foot and ice using a frozen water bottle.
