“Is morphine used after surgery to help with post-op pain?”
I have a surgery scheduled for the beginning of the month, and I'm a little scared about the pain after the surgery. It's happening in the hospital and not in an outpatient facility. Will I be given morphine to help with the pain?

You will meet with your anesthesiologist that will take care of you. If you are in pain following your surgery, they will administer some multimodal regimen to ensure you are not in pain and are comfortable.
