“I think I have oral thrush. What does this usually look like? ”
I've been drooling from mouth every time I eat, and now I think I have oral thrush. Especially since I noticed some white bumps on my gums. What does this usually look like as well?

Oral thrush looks like a white patch on the tongue or cheeks. It is easily peeled off. It usually attacks those with compromised immune systems.
Oral thrush has many complicated symptoms but the most common are fever, extreme soreness of the intraoral structures and microscopic patchy lesions which are best determined by a microscopic examination. Oral rinses that have special medication can control this along with antibiotics unless it progresses to the stage where breathing becomes laborious and the tongue is elevated from the inflammation restricting the airway and making food intake difficult.
