“What could be the reason for anal fissures?”
My husband all of a sudden is dealing with anal fissures. What could be the reason to have caused this all of a sudden?

A hard stool passing through the anal canal is the most common cause for an anal fissure.
Constipation is the most common cause but not the only cause.
Most likely. A fissure is caused by hard bowel movements (constipation).
