There are a lot of tendons and ligaments around the rest you could’ve injured any of them. You also could’ve injured one of the bones. You need to start by visiting an orthopedic surgeon with an interesting rest problems. I would start by taking an x-ray to make sure there isn’t a fracture. If it is one of the tendons and I inflammatory medication might help followed by injections
If the pain is significant, you should consult a specialist for a detailed examination and at least preliminary X-rays.

Pain around the wrist in the absence of trauma can be caused by many things. However, the most common things are carpal tunnel syndrome or a tendinitis. I would take ibuprofen 600mg 3 times a day with food and buy a wrist brace and wear it as much as possible, even when sleeping. If, after 2 weeks, you're not better, see an orthopedic surgeon.

Hope it helps,

Hello,

Most pain about the wrist can be from overuse type conditions. If you perform repetitive motions on a daily basis, one can develop inflammation in the joints and tendons. You did not mention if you had an injury. Weightlifting, golf, and racquet sports can also produce wrist pain. Because your symptoms are localized at the wrist, you should get an evaluation from your family physician or orthopedist. You may have course begin with some over-the-counter anti-inflammatories as needed. If the pain persists, please take my advice and get an evaluation.
There are numerous causes of pain around any joint in the body. You need to see an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand problems for a thorough history (when it hurts, where it hurts, what medical problems may exist in you or your immediate family members), physical exam, and X-rays. The majority of issues can be delineated with those items.

Until then, keep a log of your pain episodes so that your visit to the doctor will be more efficient and productive.
