I am a 25 year old female and I am using glycolic acid. What are the side effects of glycolic acid?

Glycolic acid can help remove acne scars if the concentration is high enough. However, you SHOULD NOT try to do this without the help of a Dermatologist because when the acid peels get this strong permanent scarring from them can occur if not very careful.
Per provider on site, possible side effects of glycolic acid: redness, irritation, or rash.
Usually none except for dryness and slight redness.
