I am a 48 year old female. I want to know what diet should you have if you have a bad heart?

Low salt, Low cholesterol diet. Avoid fried food and red meat. 30% of you diet should contain fruits and green vegetables. High fiber content. More than diet regular intermediate intensity exercise is more important.

If your issue is hypertension, then a low sodium diet (2 grams-4 grams). If it's cholesterol, then an American Heart Association Diet (located on the AHA website. May need to be on both.
