What happens if you don't do physical therapy after knee surgery?

I am a 38 year old male. I want to know what happens if you don't do physical therapy after knee surgery?

Your knee will become frozen and it will affect your mobility.
It's important to not only move to ensure continued flexibility and proper range of motion, but it also helps to reduce fluid build up which can lead to infection. It depends on what is going on in your knee. Are the ligaments involved? Is the meniscus implicated? Are the tendons intact? What is the quality of the synovium? Without a consultation with a local PT you could be looking at a less than favorable outcome. Then you and your surgeon would not be very happy. Best of luck.
