What you feel as a dry eye could mean other problems. Allergies can cause similar symptoms. Please see your eye care specialist
Artificial tears are an easy treatment for dry eyes. Also, a humidifier may help if your sleeping area is dry or you live in a hot, dry, or cold, dry climate. If dry eyes persist or worsen, make an appointment with an eye care specialist.
You could try using artificial tears, however, given your age, you might wish to investigate why you have dry eyes. Do you have allergies, or other conditions that predispose you to eye irritation? An examination by your ophthalmologist will be helpful.
Put lubricating ointment in your eyes before bed time, it blurs vision, but you will be asleep. Eyes will feel better in the morning.

Use a lubricating ophthalmic ointment at night before you go to sleep. Avoid ceiling fans if possible. Have someone check to make sure your eyes are closed when you are sleeping. If no improvement, see an ophthalmologist. SO
It is unusual to have dry eyes at your age unless you have a medical condition like Sjogrens disease or graft vs. host disease (GVHD) after chemotherapy. You could also have exposure at night if your eyelids open partly while you are sleeping. It could also be allergy or blepharitis. The best solution for you is to see an ophthalmologist soon, since treatment will be targeted to your specific issue.
