What is the first sign of chickenpox?

My daughter has a rash all over her body. I think she has chickenpox. What is the first sign of chickenpox?

Most children start with a fever. Because there’s a vaccine, chicken pox is pretty rare.
The first signs of Chicken Pox are fever, malaise or fatigue and loss of appetite. This is followed by a rash which usually starts on thr trunk (body) and spreads to the extremeties. The rash usually itchy and occurs in crops so different stages (raised areas, fluid filled and crusted lesions) will be seen over time
