When can I wash my face after nose surgery?

Hello, you can wash your face with a cool wash cloth immediately after surgery. However, make sure you do not wet your nose. if you have a splint on, a warm water can remove it. I remove the nasal splint after five days, then you will be able to wash your face fully and under the shower. For further questions or inquiries you may visit my website at DrRoya.com as well. Good luck!
Following rhinoplasty, you will have a cast on your nose, which generally stays for one week. This cast should be kept dry. You can wash your hair backwards in the sink if you like, and you can wash around the rest of your face with a washcloth if you like, however, the cast itself must be kept dry, which means bath from the neck down or hand held shower from the neck down.
Thank you for your inquiry.

Sincerely,

You can wash your face starting the day after surgery, but it's recommended that your nasal splint remains dry for the week that it is in place. If your nasal splint gets wet, the lining can mildew. This may or may not affect your final result, but it will create a strange odor that surrounds you until the splint is removed.
Once the cast and tape have been removed which is about anywhere from one week to 10 days.
As long as you don’t get your cast wet, there is no specific time with which you can’t wash your face after rhinoplasty.
You can usually wash your face a day or two after the operation, depending on the specific surgery performed. Better to ask your operating surgeon for specific instructions regarding this question.
