“Why do I have a burning sensation in my lower abdomen?”
I am a 30 year old female. I have a burning sensation in my lower abdomen. What could be the cause?

Lower abdominal pain is usually colonic in origin, but I would need to know more about the burning before I can advise. The burning could come from a site outside of or other than the intestine.
Your doctor can better answer your question after she examines you in office.
