“Why does my stomach hurt after drinking a lot of water?”
I am an 18 year old male. My stomach hurts after drinking a lot of water. What could be the cause?

Because drinking too much water at once, expand the stomach too fast and stretching the stomach muscle cause pian. Thank you.
Probably the stretching of the stomach to accommodate a lot of water ingestion is causing pain. I observe a lot of people drinking too much water, in the belief that this is somehow healthier than drinking a normal amount of water based on your physiological needs. If you are urinating excessively during the day or overnight, then you are drinking too much water.
Try drinking less at a time and see if you feel any better.
