“Why is my anus itchy and bleeding?”
I'm 40 years old, and for the past few days, my anus has been itchy and bleeding whenever I pass motions. Is this serious enough to see a doctor? Why is this happening?

This is probably a hemorrhoid, anal fissure or both. Seeing a GI doc or colorectal surgeon is a good place to start.
You will need to see a doctor in order to have a diagnosis and to treat the condition.
Sounds like it could be an anal fissure but an examination by a colon and rectal surgeon is necessary for a definitive diagnosis and treatment.
