    The only scars are where the liposuction cannula is introduced into the arm to do the lipo suction. This is 1/2 inch and at least two per arm. This is dependent on an experienced doctor. READ MORE

    Basically, this is something I have not heard before. I cannot remember hearing this in training and since. So, an answer is just guessing what could please you. The goal is to successfully remove the excess skin and fat in the eyelids, it is not to apply a sex to the operation. READ MORE

  • How painful is breast reduction surgery?

    It can be quite painful in the first days. It is usually done as an in patient so you have nursing 24 hrs. So, you can ask for pain meds. When you are discharged, the pain meds are by mouth. You are charged with the responsibility of taking them in a responsible manner. BUT—they work. If the pain continues in a severe manner after a few days, something is amiss. Follow the instructions. Do what is asked. But notify the doctor if there is an unexpected severe pain, when it is unexpected. READ MORE

  • What is the cost of a complete tummy tuck?

    This can vary. Are you fat or skinny or normal for your height? The costs can vary as to where it is completed. For instance, in-patient, out-patient/general anesthesia or local and a spinal block, etc., city vs. country side, etc. But 10-15 thousand should cover it wherever. AND—the doctor should explain the costs. And, can it be financed by the office? You want an experienced doctor, a good facility, and good anesthesia.     The very best is to lose the weight naturally such as dieting. However, if a doctor is involved with fat suctioning, make sure the doctor is experienced with good results. Ask to see pictures and if you could talk to a patient. READ MORE

    It could give you the circumstances to deal with the weight. However, it is better to lose the weight by being careful with choices and amounts. If you elect suction, be very careful. READ MORE

  • Can I get rid of back fat?

    Yes. You can lose the weight, which is by far the cheapest and best. But, it can be suctioned by a plastic surgeon too. You will have to commit to following the instructions post-suction.     It can be for a lifetime. Say you are happy with the result, you need to be serious about taking care of the breasts and do not do anything to destroy the result, like gaining a lot of weight. READ MORE

    This is not a simple operation. So, there is pain which is very manageable with pain medication. If the operation is done right, you do your job as the patient, it is very manageable.     At least every year if no problems. And if there is no reason to have an X-ray, do not do this. Implants have been ruptured by X-ray personnel. If there is a problem, get the X-ray. READ MORE

  • How long does swelling last after chin liposuction?

    It can be at least two weeks. You can minimize this by following your doctor's orders. There can be a dressing and this needs to stay in place. Keep the head elevated and the chin extended. Also, if the procedure is done by a knowledgeable doctor, you will have the procedure done correctly and the post-operative orders will be correct.     I do not have enough experience with cool sculpting to give you a good answer. However, you should not have bad results if the practitioner has experience. Ask about their experience. Ask to see pictures, and if possible, to talk with a patient who had the procedure. READ MORE

    This answer has some concerns of mine. Therefore, this will be in general. This does not look good. You could possibly lose the nipples. I would strongly suggest you see a plastic surgeon who has a lot of experience with this surgery. If you have a good result in the end, I would suggest going to church the next Sunday. READ MORE

    I do not have a lot of experience with Mohs surgery. However, if the surgeon has experience, good results, and can show you pictures, then you would have to consider this as a possible solution for you. READ MORE
