Often, if there is misalignment that is not corrected, you will feel the need to "crack" the joint frequently to get some short-term relief. If you get an exam by a good chiropractic physician and determine the cause of stress, the doctor should be able to provide a series of treatments to correct the problem.

Exercise may not be the answer. Where is the pain originating from? Try to determine the source and try stretching the muscles that are most affected such as the hamstrings or calf muscles. Often, leg pain that is not from a strained muscle in the leg originates from the lower back. If this is the case, then try stretching the lower back with Cat-Cow yoga pose, spinal twists or knee to chest stretches. Strengthening the core is always a good thing. If you haven't been working out, start with planks. If the pain continues for more than a week or two, consult a good chiropractor for an examination to determine the cause of pain and get it fixed.

It is always good to start with conservative treatments such as Chiropractic and massage to see if that treatment works for you. A good Chiropractor would be able to determine the cause of your headaches through examination and possibly X-rays, if necessary. After thorough examination, the provider should be able to recommend an effective treatment protocol.
