Definitely, especially if you over wear them, as in wear them longer than they are intended to be worn, or never clean them, or exercise poor hand hygiene

You are too young to get it at this time wait until you are 24, your eyes are still growing and will undo the surgery

First, you need to see if glasses or contact lens can correct your vision. If they don't will you need a medical evaluation checking for everything from cataracts ,glaucoma, Macular degeneration, or even corneal pathology.

Refractive error (the need for glasses) is entirely a matter of physics. Either the eye is too long, too short, or not round. Not wearing them can cause children and adults, to get headaches of varying intensity, working mostly by astenopia (eye fatigue). I have seen many children fall behind in school work (they can't see the chalk board), and unfortunately some were even left back a year in school. Later in adults, we get presbyopia (need reading glasses, after age 40). Severe refractive errors can cause AMBLYOPIA, a condition that needs to be discovered, as early as possible (like age 3 or 4). Lastly, cell phones and computers are the worst things for our eyes, but they are not going anywhere, as they have completely taken over out society.

Most of the time, you will feel nothing at all.

Anyone, regardless of age, can have astigmatism. It means that the shape of the corneas are not perfectly round, that they are oval/eliptical, shaped like an egg, not perfectly round like a baseball.

You need to have a comprehensive eye exam to rule out everything from needs glasses, to cataracts, to diabetes, to glaucoma, etc.
