Why do I produce so much ear wax every few months in the last few years?
Some people just produce more wax than others but it does not have any medical significance. It may be a problem now but that does not mean it will be a problem in the future.

Crackling in the ears does not suggest Meniere's. The crackling is from the Eustachian tube which connects the throat with the ear. Swelling within the tube allows fluid in the middle ear space to and is the cause of the crackling and discomfort. Try holding your nose and blowing to make your ear pop. I would also suggest an antihistamine to help resolve the swelling in the eustachian tube.Hope this is of some help. Without an exam this is the best I can do. Do get a hearing test and be aware of a high frequency hearing loss this would be most common in your age group and is related to noise exposure {loud music, ear buds}I
Spot in throat
Most likely it is a "tonsil stone" which is nothing more than a cyst.. If it becomes bothersome it can be easily extracted.
Spot in throat
What you describe is certainly consistent with a "tonsil stone". This is a benign condition but at times can be an irritation.....

Empty nose syndrome is a relatively new diagnosis and is the result of chronic irritation or overly aggressive surgery involving the lining of the nose, I know of no treatment as of now, so anything that helps is worth using. Steroids mau help some but I would not use them indefinitely. Saline nasal sprays may give you some relief.

Everything you say suggests that this is a viral infection and you can expect it to last 3 to 4 days. Symptomatic treatment, as you have been doing, will be of some help, but the virus just needs to run its course.
