After immediate extraction and for about a couple of days, I would suggest no rinsing and spitting, especially if there was bone grafting involved for ridge augmentation. Also because you want the blood clot to form. After that, rinsing a couple of times a day is sufficient. You could also use prefabricated sachets that are made for sinus rinse as they have both salt and bicarbonate in the pre-mixed form.
