Shoulder joint pain can be fixed, it's just a matter of finding out what is actually causing the problem. Is the pain the result of an injury? Did it occur suddenly or gradually worsen over time? Chiropractic can help shoulder problems by working on the shoulder itself, restoring shoulder motion and relieving pain. Neck and upper back problems can also cause shoulder pain and stiffness. Chiropractic adjustments are safe, drug free treatments designed to improve the function of the spine.
Depending on the etiology, treatment generally entails conservative management with medications and physical therapy for a range of motion exercises and strengthening. If the patient fails conservative Management, invasive treatment can be considered which may include, but is not limited to injections/surgery.
