Hepatitis B and C transmission?

I have recently touched the blood of somebody whose tests resulted positive for hepatitis C. Does that mean I'm now infected?

Yes, but it is not that common. In other words, it doesn't occur very often. Anyway, if you are in doubt, go to your healthcare provider to do the test. Thank you.
Not if your skin was intact, e.g., no cuts or open sores or wounds. If worried, have your doctor obtain a Hep C antibody test now and again in 4-6 weeks. There is no known preventative therapy.

Thanks for your question. The only way to find out if you are or not contaminated with Hepatitis C virus is to visit your physician who will recommend you specific blood tests. Having in mind that virus C is very aggressive and may affect dramatically your health, please do not delay your visit to doctor.

Good luck and stay safe.
No.
Thanks for the question.
Your risk is extremely low if you do not have an open wound or scratch exposed to that blood, even less if you washed your hands afterward.
