People with depression tend to fall into habits that reinforce depression....behavioral therapy helps you understand and moderate conduct so that you can break out of those habits and start your path to wellness.
Hello,

The therapist will first evaluate you and help you explore your goals. And then may use CBT or Hypnotherapy to help you explore the origins of depression, the triggers, and the inner talk that you engage in and help you find a way to release the obstacles in the path of your being happy. In case there is a biological factor, they will suggest you see a psychiatrist to assess the need for medication. In the meantime, you may want to start reading "Feeling Good" by Dr. David Burns. In case you are in FL, IN, IL and looking for a therapist, then contact me.
Take care and remain safe.

Dr. Lata Sonpal
It helps in addition to medical treatment, both have very successful results.
