I had colon surgery and I am bloated all the time. Is bloating normal after colon surgery?

This is expected and should resolve as the time goes by. If it continues, then you need to see your surgeon to investigate further.
Distention, yes. Start probiotics daily.
Yes because until your bowels resume normal function things can be backed up. Also swelling in your belly happens as it heals. But if it’s pain or fever go get checked.
This is best answered by a surgeon, but I would need to know more about the bloating. Does it happen after eating? Are you having normal bowel movements? Is there abdominal pain?
