“Large reddish bruise?”
I have a large reddish bruise covering most of my left calf which I've had for years which I've thought is there through continually crossing my legs. However, recently I have felt like a pulled muscle at the back of the knee same leg which is not going away. Could the two be related and should I be worried?

It is unlikely that they are related. Although it is quite common to pull or tear a calf muscle, which can hurt for weeks. Your regular physician can point you in the right direction, and it is always best to get it checked.
