There is an oropharyngeal triamcinilone which is safe for use in the mouth. I do not know if that is what you were prescribed. You should consult your pharmacist. It is best to avoid those spicy foods which irritate your mouth.
The answer is yes. It is typically prescribed in combination with orabase. It is indicated for adjunctive treatment and for the temporary relief of symptoms associated with oral inflammatory lesions. If your symptoms remain persistent and don’t respond to this medication you may wish to also visit with your dentist.
