I have -7 power on both my eyes. What can I do about it? I am feeling inferior among my peers by wearing these high power glasses.

Many treatments are available to you.
-contact lenses
-LASIK/PRK. Laser reshaping of the eye.
-Intraocular contact lens behind cornea
-if cataract present, remove it and replace with a lens that restores vision without glasses.
You should visit your eye doctor to discuss your options.
You can get high index glasses made that are aesthetically very good. Also, try getting fit in contacts or go for a LASIK surgery evaluation.
Your myopia while high is not extreme. You can be fully corrected at that level and see as well as anyone. If the eyeglasses bother you, then they probably would bother you no matter what the power. Consider checking with your ophthalmologist for contact lenses and when you get to about age 23 or so, LASIK would be the next step. Those who wear glasses are considered more intellectual and smart by others, so there is a bonus for you.
