Right side lower back pain?

I've been having severe back pain for 2 days the pain is mostly the right side lower rib cage area been taking Motrin but this evening it is getting worse. I am female and 61 years old, thought it might be from weed-eating this last week.

If it’s a back pain, most likely it’s not due to weed. But you got to make sure it’s not a kidney infection.
Yes, it could be related to the weed eater. I agree with taking Motrin. Take 600 mg three times a day with food. You can use icy hot or BenGay and a heating pad on your back. Hopefully your symptoms will resolve within several days. If not, see your orthopedic surgeon.

Hope it helps!!

I would suggest to see your doctor for evaluation. Acute onset severe pain is concerning.
You are probably right. I’m guessing your hamstrings are tightened and pulled on your lower back. I believe some gentle exercise, stretching, ice, and massage may help relieve things.
