I would say YES, if you actually have a conjunctivitis of which there are at least 3 types including bacterial, viral, and allergic and the treatments are all different. To be safe and to be sure that you actually have a form of conjunctivitis, please see an eye doctor in order to diagnose your problem and to have an appropriate treatment. Good luck and best wishes.
