A huge white bump after a spider bite could mean infection, a bad reaction, or slow healing. Brown recluse bites can cause skin damage, while wolf spider bites are usually less serious but can still cause swelling.

What You Can Do:
Keep it clean – Wash with mild soap and water daily.
Apply antibiotic ointment – Helps prevent infection.
Use a cold compress – Reduces swelling and pain.
Avoid popping or squeezing it – This can make it worse.
See a doctor if:
The bump gets bigger, painful, or leaks pus.
You have fever, chills, or spreading redness.
The skin around it turns black or forms an open sore.
Since it’s been a week and hasn’t improved, see a doctor as soon as possible. If needed, book a consultation at Irvine Skin for expert care.
