Uterus question?

During a pelvic exam the Dr said I had a “tipped cervix” but with transvaginal ultrasound, the finding said anteverted. The ultrasound was due to changes in pain and cycles being between 18-31 days. Which one is it? Retroverted or anteverted…can your cervix be one way and your uterus another? I don’t understand.

Usually with a retroverted uterus the cervix is more anterior. It the uterus is a reverted the cervix tilts backwards & more posterior. Unless with ultrasound the anatomy was not seen well.
