It can feel like a stabbing, burning and cramping pain in the back or center chest. It hurts more with breathing and movement, it can also affect the shoulder on the same side of the rib.
Usually sharp pain in rib or spine when you breathe. Offer free consultation.
A misaligned rib can create many types of pain. In my experience the most common symptom is a sharp pain made worse on breathe. It can also create a "catch" type of pain. If it truly is a misaligned rib then a good chiropractor can help treat it.
Hello,

A rib out is one of the most excruciating pains you can have, because the muscles, the cartilage, and structure become inflamed, which cause additional pain! You can have numbness, tingling, heart palpitations, burning, and stabbing sensations! Get in to see a chiropractor for an evaluation to figure out what is happening.

Pain off to the side from your spine. Difficult to take deep breaths if ribs are restricted. Can also mimic chest pains and lead to costochondritis. Best to be treated by a chiropractor.
Many times the patient will complain of mid back or chest pain. They will also state that they get a sharp pain with deep or quick breaths.

A rib out of alignment or subluxated is painful to the touch and causes pain with certain movements or even breathing. It’s difficult to self-diagnose. You should see a skilled chiropractor for a proper evaluation if you have pain in a rib area.
It can feel like many different things. It can range from a mild ache in your back and/or chest all the way up to feeling like someone just ran you through with a hot poker through your back out your chest. It can hurt to bend, twist, even take a breath. Upper ribs can even feel like major shoulder injuries. Ribs can be mild to severely painfully. Usually, the earlier on in onset that it is treated, the faster they go away. But they can bother someone for a long time.
It feels like a sharp, stabbing pain that will not let you take a deep breath.
Usually a rib out of place feels like very sharp pain, especially when taking a deep breath.
