The post op care will tell you specifically, but without complications typically within 7 days. *Krystle Miller OD* *Optometrist*
Patients typically can drive 1 week following PRK. The Bandage Contact Lens is removed at 1 week and usually within 24 hours there is a jump in vision. The first three days are the worst in terms of both comfort and vision. The surface cells are actively healing and rest helps with recovery and comfort. LASIK patients are driving the very next morning, so this is one of the biggest advantages for LASIK.

It can vary from patient to patient. Usually within 1 week depending on how quickly your eye is healing after your procedure. Your surgeon will give you post-op instructions after your procedure with regards to driving. Mark
