If you still have pain that you relate to the accident, then I wouldn’t say you are recovered. Auto accidents can cause permanent injuries. A chiropractor can help by diagnosing the pain and creating a treatment plan to help you further recover.
Definitely
I am not sure if you did any therapy following your car accident but I can assure you, if you are still having pain after your accident you have not fully recovered. Depending on the severity of the car accident, soft tissues (tendons, ligaments, and intervertebral discs) can take up to a year to completely heal and stabilize.

Chiropractic is great for helping you recover from car accident injuries. I recommend starting treatment with in 1-5 days following the collision and going to an office or clinic such as mine that offers not only Chiropractic care but also injury rehabilitation, myofascial release, muscle stimulation, and ultrasound to achieve the best possible outcome for your injuries.
Yes, chiropractic can help with most pain caused by a car accident.
Car accidents often cause more injury than initially suspected. A chiropractor can help. Get an evaluation to determine the source of your continued symptoms. An MRI may be required depending on what the initial exam shows.
Yes. There is likely some residual alignment issues remaining in joint, muscle, and nerve tissues.
Often after a M.V.A, there can be permanent damage caused by the impact. It is generally suggested that some chiropractic maintenance care can improve the long-term prognosis, stopped ongoing deterioration and allowing for a better quality of life.

There may be residual pain as a result of several factors for which chiropractics can help. However, further diagnostic testing is warranted to fully evaluate the cause of the residual pain. In my experience, I have treated patients with chronic pan following car accidents and have seen a 80%-90 % increase in their activities of daily living.
