Can a chiropractor help with carpal tunnel?

I am a 31 year old male. I want to know if a chiropractor can help with carpal tunnel?

Absolutely! The position of bones in the neck, shoulder, and arm (upper arm, forearm and even the wrist), and bones in the hand can play a role in wrist pain perceived as carpal tunnel in some cases. Seeing someone that does chiropractic work to extremities would be who I sought out for carpal tunnel. Like most things in life, there is no guarantee that the pain will go away 100%. However, with proper alignment of all the bones involved in the chain from the fingers to the neck the body will be able to function more properly and discontinue use of muscles in the wrong manner. Misaligned carpal bones can also affect the carpal tunnel region. A chiropractor can also recommend a brace, one that can be worn during work or at night.
Yes, with adjustments and muscle work
Depending on the severity of your symptoms, a chiropractor may be able to alleviate the condition. Typically, it is a subluxation of the lunate carpal that puts pressure on the median nerve of the hand. But they may also need to check the elbow as well as the shoulder and neck area for a thorough examination.
Since the wrist is made up of bones creating joints, a Chiro who has a knowledge on “extremity adjusting” can most definitely assist with carpel tunnel disorder.
Hope I helped. Got your back!

Yes. Chiropractors can help with carpal tunnel syndrome. Most chiropractors adjust extremities in addition to the spine and pelvis.
Carpal tunnel involves the small bones of the wrist and sometimes the elbow. In addition to adjusting those bones the chiropractor can recommend wrist support and nutritional supplements to assist the healing process.
In most cases, yes.
A CHIROPRACTOR CAN MOST DEFINITELY HELP WITH CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME. I TREAT IT OFTEN. IN MY OFFICE, LAFAYETTE HILLTOP CHIROPRACTIC, I DO AN EXAM TO CONFIRM THE DIAGNOSIS OF CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME AND USE DIFFERENT MODALITIES INCLUDING ULTRASOUND, MASSAGE TECHNIQUES, AND ADJUSTING TO HELP. CALL AND SEE A CHIROPRACTOR FOR YOUR CARPAL TUNNEL.

Thank You,

A good chiropractor will take a thorough history and do an examination to determine if you have carpal tunnel syndrome or if it's something else. Chiropractors get extensive training on the diagnosis and treatment of many musculoskeletal conditions that include not only the spine, but also extremities. Most chiropractors try to find the underlying problems to your
symptoms and treat the cause of those symptoms. They should also give you advice on things you should do at home in addition to the treatments you receive in the office. Your chiropractor may make a referral for physical therapy or massage therapy in conjunction with your treatment, but not as a replacement for your treatment.
Usually yes, most chiropractors can help with carpal tunnel.
Yes, by adjusting the wrist.
Yes, sir, they can. Check out just one of the many published papers on how chiropractic can help with carpal tunnel:

Definitely, ultimately it depends on what is causing it! I recommend a thorough consultation, exam, and digital X-rays to evaluate what’s going on!
Hope that helps!

Yes, Chiropractic care has been helping patients with numerous neuro and musculoskeletal conditions including carpal tunnel. In fact, chiropractic is one of the most effective and efficient way to help patients with carpal tunnel syndrome.
Often Chiropractic can help. Each case is different and Dependant upon the origin of the problem. It is best to get yourself evaluated.
This is a great question and the answer is yes! Adjustments of the extremities are designed to encourage proper alignment and space in the joint, in this case the wrist joint. In carpal tunnel syndrome, you typically have a lot of compressive forces putting stress on the joint causing progressive pain. Maintaining good alignment at the wrist lessens that stress and decreases the pressure on the joint.

It all depends on the chiropractor just like it all depends on how well the medical doctor is knowledgeable about how to correct the issue. I, myself, have some amazing techniques to help with carpal tunnel.
