My daughter has a little gap in her front two teeth. Is this normal and can it be corrected in any way?

Depending on the age of your daughter, the gap may close naturally if she is still losing some of her primary or baby teeth. As adult teeth come in, they are larger and may push teeth together and help close the gap. Some gaps are hereditary and may not close naturally. You have options to close the gap if that is the case, i.e., bonding or orthodontic appliance.
Yes
How old is she? Because for young kids, it is normal. Once all the permanent teeth have erupted, if there's still a gap, then it can be fixed.
It is normal and can be corrected with orthodontic treatment
It depends on your daughters age and yes it can be corrected. Are the front primary or permanent?
You didn't mention her age but it's perfectly normal to have interdental spacing in fact it is advantageous as the face is not full-sized until adolescence when the larger teeth take the place of the smaller baby teeth. This is called primate spacing and is usually closed by 11 or 12 in girls in the front of the mouth from the erupting eye tooth
A gap between the two front teeth can be normal depending on her age. If she is 11 years old or older, have her assessed for braces. If she is under 6, it is normal.

Thanks
This does occur often. Depending upon the source of the space, the repair options will vary. Some options would include perio tissue removal if indicated, bonding, or crowns and/or veneer laminates.
Midline gaps can be cause by a variety of reasons. The size of the upper teeth is less than the available space. There are ways to evaluate the size of the teeth to one another and to the size of the face. This evaluation is important to determine the proper corrective treatment which could include orthodontics and/or veneering two or more teeth to change the tooth size.
If she is less than 11 years of age, it's possible to have it and be normal. By 12 years, the canine/i tooth should come in and close the space. If not, then it can be corrected with braces.
This is "normal" for her. Most patients consider a gap between the upper two front teeth referred to as a "diastema" to be cosmetically undesireable evryone is different and if it doesn't bother her then leave it! As far as it being normal in an ideal sense there should not be a gap sometimes it is caused and/or made worse by the muscle attachment to her upper lip called a frenum. To close the gap we either bond the teeth to close the gap or orthodontically move the teeth to close the gap if the frenum is contributing to the gap the orthodontist would refer the patient for the frenum to be trimmed. The famous actress/model Lauren Hutton has a diastema and for years she wore a device to hide her gap. After many years she decided to embrace her diastema and is seen in photos with her God-given gap!
Yes. This is common. It may need to be closed with orthodontic treatment (braces).

Very normal. Small gaps can be fixed either with orthodontics or minor fillings. Larger gaps can be treated with orthodontics or crown and bridge work.
