“How long will braces hurt for?”
I got braces put on last week, and they're still hurting me. Is it normal for them to hurt so long?

A week or two is common to feel sore. Taking pain meds, like ibuprofen, early and often works
Patients do experience sensitivity with braces placement and the pressure will depend on the level of crowding or spacing involved. See your dentist or orthodontist for evaluation.
Traditional braces may hurt for a day or two. Clear aligners such as Invisalign usually don’t hurt at all.
I'm sorry to hear that you're still uncomfortable. It's not unusual for teeth to hurt after braces are placed. Usually for a few days. If it's been too long, in your opinion, I would call your orthodontist and let them know what's going on.
