A sudden hearing loss is considered a medical emergency and should be evaluated immediately. Treatment is available that can restore a sudden hearing loss, but only if it is implemented quickly. I recommended you contact a an ear, nose and throat physician for consultation immediately.      Angela R. Sieh Ceretto, M.A., CCC-A, FAAA Audiologist Pinnacle Audiology, LLC 6809 S. Could be wax, but call an Ear, Nose and Throat office ASAP and tell them you've had a sudden hearing loss in the right ear and they'll work you in the same day.
