“Should I consider natural medicine for cancer?”
I was diagnosed with musculoskeletal cancer quite recently, and I really do not want to go through the side effects of chemotherapy or radiotherapy. I'd much rather look into natural medicine. Is natural medicine a safe choice?

There are holistic doctors that specialize in Cancer. It would be worth while to ask for a consultation to understand the pros and cons. Cancer treatment center of America also offer both conventional treatments with supportive natural treatments.
Hi there, I'm so sorry to hear you have cancer. I know there are Naturopathic Doctors who specialize in cancer, I do not. I know soursop has shown great results as well as Frankincense. Message me if you have more questions.
Hi there, probably the best option is to combine both medicine. I don’t have your medical record so I can not give you any specific recommendation. You can visit a Naturopathic Doctor with all the information to see how he or she can help you to support your body to fight back better.

I find the best approach to be one of integration where the best of conventional medicine and the best of natural medicine merge and create a strategy for care. If you're in the US, consider places like CTCA, The Block Center, and if you're elsewhere, consider places like Integrated Health Clinic outside of Vancouver, Sanoviv in Mexico, and there are many other clinics that take a more integrated approach. Another US based clinic is the Riordan Clinic in Kansas, and here is a friend of mine who practices there: https://riordanclinic.org/staff/kirsten-west-nd-lac-fabno/
An Integrative approach is usually best. Seek out a Naturopathic Doctor that completed a Fellowship in Oncology (FABNO).

Natural dietary supplements have not shown any effect in the treatment of cancer, while omega3 may increase the incidence of cancer. Antioxidants and other supplements also showed a deleterious effect and should actually be avoided. Most of the new cancer treatments have less toxicity than previously and are effective and should be discussed with your doctor
No. National medicine will not control cancer. Side effects from chemotherapy and radiation therapy are nothing compare with complications from tumor . Side effects from chemotherapy and radiation therapy are temporary and manageable with medications.
There are anectodal reports of this working, but there is rarely any data to back this up. With traditional medicine we can at least predict outcomes and side effects, with natural medicine we can't. Not only that, it may delay actual curative therapy past the point where you can safely be treated.
In my opinion it might be used along with chemotherapy and/or radiation but studies suggest worse survival in patients who use natural medicines instead of well studied treatments such as chemotherapy or radiaiton
