If fever gets too high (hyperthermia), is extremely dangerous and can cause convulsion and coma. It is an emergency. If the fever reach 1030 you should go to the emergency immediately. In adults, fever could be accompanied by nausea, confusion, or a rash. Thank you.
IN GENERAL, NOTHING DANGEROUS. THERE IS NOT A NUMBER THAT IS NECESSARILY AGREED ON THAT IS TOO HIGH. CLEARLY, IF YOU HAVE A FEVER, YOU SHOULD TAKE TYLENOL AND IBUPROFEN, AT THE SAME TIME - DON'T ALTERNATE - TO BRING FEVER DOWN. IT IS THE PEOPLE WHO ARE OUTDOORS IN HEAT THAT DEVELOP LIFE-THREATENING HEAT ILLNESS THAT ARE IN DANGER. ALSO, OTHER THAN GETTING YOUR FEVER DOWN, YOU SHOULD SEE A DR TO FIND OUT WHY YOU HAVE FEVER.

How high is too high? Seizures, mental cloudiness can occur with fevers beyond 103F.
The brain will be affected; you could have seizures and die.
