Chiropractic manipulation, performed manually or with an instrument, is what a Doctor of Chiropractic does to increase range of motion in a segment of the spine that is not moving well, a.k.a hypomobile/subluxated. The goal is to decrease pain symptoms, decrease muscle stiffness and tightness, and restore range of motion in the affected area of the spine. Hope this helps.

Regards,
It a specific movement of the vertebrae to remove pressure from the nervous system and restore function to those nerves and whatever structures those nerves supply. An adjustment is low amplitude with a quick impulse thrust.
Chiropractic manipulation is removing subluxation (bone out of alignment causing nerve impingement) from your spine and let the body heals itself.
Chiropractic manipulation is the art and expertise of adjusting vertebral subluxations, i.e. misalignments of the spine, that affect nerve root transmission from the spinal cord, reduces joint mobility and alters the normal biomechanical function of the spinal column. Chiropractors are the only health care providers that spend years studying and honing their skills in chiropractic manipulative techniques. Most of us perform adjustments by hand and some use instruments such as the activator.

Chiropractic manipulation is a movement along the spine and other joints to aid in restoring range of motion, relaxing muscle and calming unnecessary nerve firing.
The word "chiropractic" comes from the Greek words cheir (hands) and praxis (practice). As the name suggests, it is a hands-on therapy. Chiropractic manipulation is the application of pressure to a person's spine or other parts of their body by a qualified chiropractic doctor, or chiropractor. This pressure allows a chiropractor to adjust and correct alignment. Chiropractic manipulation aims to reduce pain and improve mechanical function, or the way a person moves.
Hello,

Thank you for your question. Chiropractic manipulation is the realignment of the vertebrate and joints of the body by hand or instrument. The intention of the Chiropractic manipulation is to restore the communication between the brain to the organs and tissues of the body by ridding the nervous system of interference which may distort the message being relayed.
I hope this answered your question.
Hello!

A chiropractic manipulation, aka an adjustment, is when the doctor applies a force to the spine, using their hands or a percussive instrument, in order to correct subluxations. Subluxations are interferences that block the brain and nerve system from healing itself. Subluxations usually come in the form of misalignments in the joints of the spine.

Chiropractic manipulation is the treatment a chiropractor uses to correct vertebral subluxations. Subluxations occur when alignment, movement integrity, and physiological functions are compromised due to functional, structural, and/or pathological articular changes in a joint.
Chiropractic manipulation is the application of pressure to a person's spine or other parts of their body by a qualified chiropractic doctor, or chiropractor. This pressure allows a chiropractor to adjust and correct alignment.
Chiropractic adjustment or manipulation is a manual procedure that utilizes the highly refined skills developed during the doctor of chiropractic’s intensive years of chiropractic education. The chiropractic physician typically uses his or her hands—or an instrument—to manipulate the joints of the body, particularly the spine, in order to restore or enhance joint function. This often helps resolve joint inflammation and reduces the patient’s pain. Chiropractic manipulation is a highly controlled procedure that rarely causes discomfort. The chiropractor adapts the procedure to meet the specific needs of each patient. Patients often note positive changes in their symptoms immediately following treatment.
All manipulations are a combination of working with the skeletal, musculature, ligament and nervous system. There are many ways of doing these manipulation. Some cause a cracking sound, but not all do cracking sounds and they don't need to crack to be effective. You need to have an evaluation done and let the Doctor tell you what he is going to do.
Chiropractic manipulation is aligning the joints of the body (mostly the spine) and restoring proper function to the joints. In the spine specifically, proper alignments allows the spinal cord and spinal nerves (which regulate and control every tissue in the entire body) to function better.
