Eyelid twitches or spasms are usually caused by stress, fatigue or caffeine. They usually go away without treatment in a few days or weeks. If they are not improving a complete ophthalmologic exam should be performed.
Usually an issue with sleep, too much screen time or an electrolyte imbalance.
There are a variety of reasons for simple eye twitching. Ask your primary care physician about this for a basic work. You may need a referral a Specialist, most likely a Neurologist to get results.
Excessive eye twitching can commonly be due to allergies or caffeinated drinks. Please treat allergies, and cut back on caffeine. If it continues, one can take magnesium 500 mg once a day.
Please consult with a neurologist.
Botox.
