Optometrist Questions Glasses

Can zero power glasses cause any harm to my eyes?

If I wear zero power glasses frequently, can it cause any harm to my eyes?

Unlikely if the quality of the lens is ophthalmic. I would need more information on the reason behind the use of such lenses. There might be additional coatings I would have recommended on the lens.
My first question for you is; have your eyes been checked so that your prescription is actually 0?
If that is the case, then this 0 prescription in no way will harm your eyes. If you do wear these lenses, a polycarbonate plastic will protect your eyes from any impact to the lenses with some UV protection. If you are "self-prescribing", you may be under prescribing what you actually need which can lead to eyestrain. To be sure and to be safe, have an optometrist perform a full medical exam with a refraction which will determine your true prescription. Good luck and best wishes.
No! As long as you’re 100% sure they have no power they will not harm your eyes.

Zero power glasses will not cause harm to your eyes. If you do not have the proper prescription for your glasses, then you can develop eye strain and eye fatigue.
Not at all! However, I would recommend adding a blue light filter (AR coating) to help protect your eyes from harmful blue light that is emitted from all LED screens. Otherwise, enjoy your fashionable and stylish eyewear.

If they are clean and made of shatter resistant, distortion-free plastic, then probably not.

Not likely. It would depend on their other properties.
No, if that is your proper/correct spectacle prescription. However, I would recommend visiting your eye care professional to determine the proper spectacle prescription, since some patients have an unbalanced prescription where one eye has no prescription, but the other eye does require one. If this is the case, then the good eye usually takes over and patient sees fine binocular (with both eyes open) but is unaware that the poorly seeing eye requires correction to see better.
