Dr. Chetan Gujrathi is an ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor, also known as an otolaryngologist, practicing in Phoenix, AZ. Dr. Gujrathi specializes in diseases and disorders of the ear, nose and throat as well as other parts of the head and neck. Dr. Gujrathi has fellowship training and expertise in all forms of thyroid disorders, thyroid nodules and cancer, parathyroid disorders, salivary gland and parotid tumors. In addition, tertiary level expertise in pediatric otolaryngology, head and neck oncology and reconstruction and complex sinus disease. In addition, Dr. Gujrathi can address all other aspects of ENT. Such structures an ENT may work on include the sinuses, larynx (voice box) and mouth in addition to the ear, nose and throat. The question is what could cause inflammation: infection, allergies, acid are common. Less common: autoimmune, hormonal, a biopsy would only conclude whether it’s inflammation or not. Rarely, tumors can manifest such as this. A trial of steroids may help. Then blood work and a biopsy

Can acupuncture help with hearing loss?

No scientific merit. Best to do steroid injections, migraine meds
