Reflux and diet can change the production of mucus in the throat. Pharyngitis, viral or bacterial, can be exhausting. Mononucleosis is a common viral illness in your age group. I would ask to be tested for that. Although with any viral illness, you have to just wait it out. Your body has to get through it on it's own. Rest, hydration, Tylenol and Motrin to keep the fever down.

Ear pain can be referred (most common) vs directly from an ear issue. Such as jaw joint pain, or neck muscle strain. The face swelling could be an issue with the salivary gland draining properly. I would ask when it swells, is it associated with your eating? Did it go down with massage and warm compresses?
Chronic throat pain in adults is most commonly reflux related. So do you have heartburn? Post nasal drip?

I have swollen lymph nodes one year after hysterectomy and removal of one ovary?

Not yet. Typical virus upper respiratory illness can last 2 -3 weeks. As long as your fever is coming down with tylenol or Motrin, you will be ok. Stay hydrated. Rest.

Bleeding occurs most commonly from repeated trauma (picking) and dryness. Saline is helpful, but water based ointment such as aquaphor can be better. Apply this to the nose 2-3 times a day on a q tip inside the nostril for at least a week. You can use a nasal decongestant spray such as afrin, if you do have a bleed. Spray the nose and then hold pressure on the soft part of the nose for 5 minutes without peeking. This will help stop the bleeding by allowing vasoconstriction.

Use it twice daily for 3 days and try hard to pop your ears, like you are on a plane (valsalva). Start using nasal steroids, flonase, 2 sprays in each nostril daily. this will also help you to pop your ears. If the ear pressure does not clear, you need to visit an ENT and get a eustachian tube dilation. Otherwise, over time, the negative pressure on the ear drum will cause a cholesteatoma.

You likely are describing inferior turbinate hypertrophy. try a nasal steroid spray 2 sprays twice daily for at least 4 weeks. Its very unllikely that you have any adenoids left. READ MORE

Can a tooth infection cause earache?

Absolutely. Most ear pain in adults is referred from the throat or somewhere else.
