Delays are having to request priors for comparison. If a life-threatening or abnormal diagnosis requires immediate attention the Radiologist will contact your doctor.

1. Arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time.
2. Nothing to eat or drink anything for 4 hours before your scan appointment.
If the facility requires oral preparation to prepare for your scan, they provide or order the solution and instructions.
3. Continue taking medications as usual. Consult your doctor or imaging facility if you have questions.
4. Change into a gown because snaps and zippers can interfere with the scan. 5. Leave valuables such as jewelry or credit cards and other valuables at home.
6. Allow 1 hour for your scan most scans take from 15 to 60 minutes.
7. After the test is complete the facility Radiologist will review the results.
